“Oriental Red” Black Tea (Bagged) – オリエンタルレッド紅茶

Description

This is the pre-bagged black tea blend of Black tea, rose, clove, and pepper called “Oriental Red” that has been grown at the foot of Mt. Fuji.

Black teas are uncommon in Japan and this is unique find from Shizuoka Japan.

Great for multiple steeps and has a moderate yet distinct flavor.

We enjoy steeping at 195° F for 1 minute and lightly increasing the time and temperature with each steep.

Steep time: 60 seconds to 2 minutes

Steep temperature: 195° F-205° F

Caffeine level: moderate to high – 20% the caffeine of a cup of coffee
