1. This is a lovely green tea called Kabusecha Hoshidzukiyo that translates to “Starry Night” that has been grown at the foot of Mt. Fuji.

This is one of our personal favorites from our specialty green tea selections.

Kabusecha is shaded for a period before being picked and prepared in spring. This selection is from Shizuoka, Japan.

Great for multiple steeps and has a moderate yet distinct flavor.

We enjoy steeping at 175° F for 30 seconds and lightly increasing the time with each steep.

Steep time: 30 seconds to 1 minute

Steep temperature: 175° F

Caffeine level: low – 5%~10% the caffeine of a cup of coffee
