This is a classic green tea called Sencha that has been grown at the foot of Mt. Fuji.
Sencha means the “first flush” or the first pickings of the new leaves in spring. This selection is from Shizuoka, Japan.
Great for multiple steeps and has a moderate yet distinct flavor.
We enjoy steeping at 175° F for 30 seconds and lightly increasing the time with each steep.
Steep time: 30 seconds to 1 minute
Steep temperature: 175° F
Caffeine level: low – 5%~10% the caffeine of a cup of coffee
